Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the safety manager and project teams on construction projects. You will help implement safety policies, monitor activities, and correct unsafe acts in the field and office.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders, participating in safety audits, and assisting with inspections and incident investigations. A degree in Occupational Safety and Health is preferred.

Qualifications

• The role requires a safety professional with knowledge of OSHA and safety programs.
• A four-year degree is preferred; Occupational Safety and Health degree suggested.
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and safety plan management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support safety manager and project team to ensure safe project completion.
• Assist in accident prevention plan maintenance and safety management tools.
• Participate in activity hazard analyses and follow-up inspections.
• Support OSHA inspections and incident investigations as needed.
• Monitor safety performance of Hensel Phelps and trade partners.
