Job summary

Hensel Phelps is seeking a Safety Engineer to support the safety manager and project teams on site, helping implement safety policies and monitor activities. The role focuses on preventing incidents and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

You will assist with accident investigations, OSHA inspections, and the maintenance of safety plans, while collaborating with field staff and trade partners to uphold a culture of safety and quality on our projects.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with stakeholders and safety team
• Knowledgeable about safety & health programs and regulatory standards
• Experience with accident prevention planning and incident investigations

Responsibilities

• Communicate with stakeholders including site staff and trade partners
• Support safety manager with OSHA inspections and audits
• Assist in accident investigations, injury management and reporting
• Maintain accident prevention and safety management plans
• Participate in activity hazard analyses and follow-up inspections
• Monitor safety performance of Hensel Phelps and partners
• Attend safety training and CP level courses
• Learn construction processes and roles on site
