Job summary

The Valcourt Group seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects from inception to completion. You will analyze drawings, set deadlines, schedule activities, procure materials, and monitor progress to ensure profitability and adherence to standards.

This role requires strong estimating skills, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with Foremen and owners. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Read and understand commercial plans, specs and details.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; experienced with estimating software.
• Knowledge of construction plans, OSHA procedures and waterproofing.
• Able to create comprehensive estimates for projects.
• Highly self-motivated and organized; can multi-task across projects.
• Commitment to respectful culture, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to ensure scopes are completed per industry and job standards, and profitably.
• Operate and care for company equipment, vehicles, and small tools.
• Communicate with owners and consulting engineers to create comprehensive bids.
• Perform accurate take-offs.
• Collect current pricing from vendors.
• Coordinate materials, scope, and paperwork with Foreman and crew.
• Initiate submittal process after contract award and provide necessary information.
• Ensure all materials have PO and complete paperwork including changes, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits to assist management and align with owner expectations.
• Communicate scheduling needs to Foreman.
• Finalize contracts with warranties, close-out documents, and final inspections.
