Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, construction management, project management, facility management, or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience in a construction management position; comparable education/training may be substituted.
• Valid Florida driver's license at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of building and infrastructure construction projects, including bid and contract preparation, specification development, pre-construction conferences, consultant selection, testing, inspections, compliance, permitting.
• Direct the completion of projects through vendors, contractors, and trades; perform field inspections.
• Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate meetings with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design professionals to resolve field discrepancies and design clarifications.
• Prepare reports on project status; monitor schedule and budget; manage changes to scope and costs.
• Ensure quality assurance/quality control; ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and safety standards.
