Job summary

SUNSHINE ENTERPRISE USA LLC is seeking a construction manager for the County of Volusia in DeLand, Florida. This full-time position coordinates and manages all assigned construction projects from start to finish, ensuring the project scope, schedule, and budget are met while coordinating with internal and external clients to ensure well-coordinated work.

A bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, construction management, project management, facility management, or a related field

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, construction management, project management, facility management, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of hands-on experience in a construction management position; substitute education, training, and experience may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of building and infrastructure construction projects, including bid and contract preparation, specification development, pre-construction conferences, consultant selection, testing, inspections, compliance, permitting.
• Coordinate, research, and direct completion of building and infrastructure projects through vendors, contractors, and trades.
• Perform field inspections of projects underway.
• Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design professionals to resolve field discrepancies and design clarifications.
• Prepare reports on the status of projects.
• Monitor project schedule and budget to maintain forecasted cost at completion.
