Job summary

Haskell's Construction & Manufacturing team is seeking a senior construction project manager to lead complex projects from start to finish, coordinating bid preparation, cost control, scheduling, and client interaction. A Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

You will manage resources, supervise design and field teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive on-time delivery with travel as required across municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management required.
• 7+ years in construction management.
• Experience with bid preparation and cost control.
• Ability to travel per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists project directors in responding to RFPs, including preparation of estimates and schedules.
• Monitors design document progress, participates in design reviews, and provides input on constructability, scope and cost changes.
• Prepares detailed estimates, cost code input, and cost control systems.
• Prepares bid packages, invitation to bid inquiries, analyzes bids, and awards subcontracts and major purchase orders.
• Works with construction leadership to establish project organization including superintendent and PCE requirements.
• Plans, sequences, and schedules the project with input from the superintendent and subcontractors; manages the project schedule and conducts job site meetings.
• Responsible for project cost control including updating labor cost reports and project status summaries.
• Coordinates permit processes, inspections, and final approvals with governing authorities.
