Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to lead all aspects of a project or portion of a larger project, in alignment with the company’s strategy and values. You will build relationships with clients, design teams and subcontractors while driving schedule, budget and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include managing preconstruction, buyout, submittals and change control, coordinating across stakeholders, and leading monthly reviews. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately, completely and on time.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to conduct effective presentations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction software.
• Knowledge of Lean processes and project management.
• Experience in budgeting, scheduling and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall safety culture and mentor staff.
• Manage prestart process and bid package development.
• Coordinate with preconstruction team on quantity takeoff and scope development.
• Lead buyout scheduling, pricing verification and subcontract management.
• Manage submittal schedules and ensure shop drawings are approved.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, subcontractors and vendors for change requests.
• Provide regular reporting on project status and profitability.
• Assist in developing and updating project budgets and forecasts.
