Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a Project Manager 1 to provide direction for a project or portion of a larger project in concert with the Project Superintendent. This role implements and manages project operations, builds relationships with clients, design teams and subcontractors to support JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages prestart and preconstruction activities.
• Coordinates takeoffs, trade coordination, scheduling and bid packages.
• Leads buyout scheduling, pricing and subcontractor management.
• Manages submittal schedules, shop drawings and samples.
• Coordinates pricing with logistics and conducts risk analysis.
• Leads meetings and project reporting; tracks budget and margins.
• Oversees project closeout, warranties and interfaces with counsel.
