Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 in Atlanta to lead overall project direction in collaboration with the Project Superintendent. You will manage the operation, build client and design-team relationships, and ensure alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, preconstruction oversight, bid and subcontract management, and schedule development to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and mentors staff.
• Manages prestart process and supports preconstruction team.
• Leads buyout schedule, pricing and subcontract scope.
• Manages submittal schedule and ensures drawings are approved.
• Coordinates with logistics for material pricing.
• Provides risk analysis of subcontractors throughout lifecycle.
• Leads project meetings and closeout processes.
• Develops project schedule with Lean principles.
• Prepares cost and margin forecasts and budget input.
