Mortenson is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the financial health of large projects, manage subcontracts, and lead on-site teams. You will develop projections, manage invoices, and ensure timely payments while maintaining budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction, civil, or architectural engineering or construction management.
• Five years of construction management or related experience on large projects.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 100%.
• Proven ability to fulfill responsibilities for complex projects.
• Detail orientation to organize multiple tasks.
• Understanding of construction law and business practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office, project tools, and web apps.
• Ability to interpret Mortenson policies.
• Strong communication and active listening in diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage overall financial health of projects including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain project financial projections and allocate estimates.
• Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and provide financials to Accounting.
• Create monthly owner billings and handle contract management including buyouts.
• Oversee budget and select trade partners and suppliers.
• Lead/Manage Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s).
• Approve timecards for on-site team members and provide feedback.
• Serve as main contact with owner and on-site representatives; review owner agreements.
• Execute/Manage change orders and obtain approvals.
• Maintain schedule and budget through project completion; manage quality, risk, safety, and compliance.
