Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years progressive project experience in heavy civil environments.
• Minimum 5 years in paving, dirt, and grading.

Responsibilities

• Forecast project revenue and costs to meet profitability.
• Coordinate with estimators and project controls to set budgets.
• Lead estimating on vertically integrated projects for bid-to-build.
• Manage resources with the project team to meet schedule.
• Participate in bid review and bid closing.
• Develop startup plan with sponsors and construction managers.
• Foster effective project communication among engineers, foremen, superintendents, and managers.
• Ensure proper job controls: quantities, costs, revenue, and schedule.
• Build relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors to develop partnerships.
• Ensure accurate construction reports for continuous improvement.
• Run projects to meet/exceed margins.
• Support safety initiatives for a safe work environment.
