Job summary

Hoar Construction is seeking a Project Manager in Florida to lead scheduling, budgeting and quality control for complex facilities projects. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage client expectations, and oversee safety programs while partnering with the Superintendent to deliver on-time, on-budget results.

The role requires 5–8 years of large-scale construction experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency with project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement to manage a construction project.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software (Suretrak, Project, P6, Procore, Revit, VICO or equivalent).
• LEED Accreditation preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning meetings and project status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan by producing summary status reports, issuing monthly projections, and change orders.
• Create/monitor pay applications and cash flow to manage the budget.
• Develop all project administration, correspondence, letters etc.
• Develop industry relationships and expand networks for future opportunities.
• Maintain a complete understanding of job contracts and documents.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, RFPs, PCOs, and procurement.
• Coordinate delivery of material and supplies to job sites.
• Lead project meetings with the team; distribute agendas and minutes.
• Maintain client contact to gauge performance and communicate updates.
• Cultivate relationships with current and potential clients.
• Ensure contract files are properly set up and reporting is timely.
• Oversee project closeout with organized documentation.
• Monitor regional market trends and regulatory developments affecting the company.
