Job summary

Hoar seeks a Project Manager to lead large facility construction projects starting in Charleston, SC, with a permanent home office in Atlanta after project completion.

You will develop and maintain project plans, budgets, change orders, and scheduling, while coordinating submittals, RFIs, procurement, and contract administration.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in complex construction, a relevant degree, LEED preferred, and strong client relations to expand opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in building science or related field.
• 5–8 years in large, complex facility construction and on-site mgmt.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting and procurement for projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Attend planning and status meetings.
• Develop and maintain the project plan and budget.
• Prepare monthly projections, change orders, and pay apps.
• Coordinate submittals, RFI/RFPs, and material procurement.
• Manage contracts and ensure proper filing and billing.
• Lead owner-architect-contractor meetings.
• Develop project administration and correspondence.
• Cultivate client relationships and expand networks.
• Ensure project closeout documentation is complete.
• Monitor market trends affecting regional operations.
