Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a qualified Project Manager within our Advanced Facilities Group to lead core project management activities for industrial and data center builds.

The role oversees preconstruction coordination, subcontract management, scheduling, risk analysis, and reporting, while driving Lean practices to deliver on time, on budget projects and ensure safety commitments across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• 5+ years construction management experience.
• Ability to lead safety culture and mentor others.
• Proficiency in coordinating preconstruction, procurement, and design activities.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures an injury‑free environment.
• Manages prestart and buyout processes, including subcontracting.
• Supports preconstruction with quantity takeoff, coordination and scope development.
• Coordinates submittal schedules and ensures timely review of shop drawings.
• Manages change requests and pricing with subcontractors.
• Leads monthly project reviews and closeout activities.
• Develops and updates project schedule using Lean principles.
