Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 1 to lead an entire project or a portion of a larger project. You will drive safety, manage preconstruction, and coordinate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years of construction management, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication skills. Travel and non-traditional hours may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction management experience with proven leadership.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong communication and safety leadership required.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor others towards injury-free environment.
• Manage prestart process and preconstruction activities including scope and bids.
• Coordinate buyout, pricing, and subcontractor selection with schedule focus.
• Oversee submittal process, shop drawings, and approvals with design partners.
• Prepare and monitor project schedule, budget, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Facilitate meetings and ensure effective documentation and records.
