Job summary

TW Constructors invites motivated undergraduates to join as a Summer 2027 intern in St. Louis, MO. You will shadow project engineers, managers, estimators, and safety professionals, gaining hands-on experience from conceptual stages through project closeout.

You will visit active job sites, perform tasks with direction, and receive safety training while contributing to real projects and earning a paid internship. Nationwide travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
• Experience with subcontracts, subcontractors, or self-perform work is a plus.
• Prior internship or project engineering experience on projects valued at $5M+ (design-build experience preferred).
• Committed to upholding a Safety-First culture.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives.
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities.
• You will have leadership and guidance to support project teams throughout all phases.
