Job summary

TW Constructors in St. Louis is offering a paid internship for Summer 2027, giving undergraduates a chance to shadow project engineers, managers, estimators, and safety professionals.

You will participate in site visits, gain hands-on experience, and receive safety training while supporting project teams from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include assisting with schedules, budgets, change orders, RFIs, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university.
• Foundational understanding of construction principles and practices.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a flexible, collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to support project success.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Support the creation of accurate project forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee cost management, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
• Take ownership of project execution and delivery.
• Contribute to preconstruction planning, quality assurance, and safety initiatives.
• Assist senior project managers in overseeing construction activities.
