Based in New Brighton with some travel, the role involves reviewing bid packages, preparing proposal documents, and tracking progress with a focus on safety and customer service. The position requires reading drawings, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings and perform quantitative takeoffs / estimates.
• Travel is expected to average approximately two days per month.

Responsibilities

• Extract takeoff quantities from bid drawings and field measurements.
• Prepare costs to apply to takeoff quantities for bids.
• Assist in preparation of proposal documents.
• Maintain files of working documents for estimates and related documents.
• Assist in preparation of cost analysis reports for management and customers.
• Develop and sustain relationships with customers as directed by manager.
