This entry-level role is designed for graduates, Veterans, and others passionate about advancing the business of building, with an on-site, 12-month development plan and mentorship from experienced leaders. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Military experience or four-year degree from an accredited university within Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business strongly preferred.
• Previous experience on commercial job sites strongly preferred.
• Passion for the construction industry and on-site work.
• Ability to learn sector- and project-specific software systems, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office 365, ProCore, Adobe Suite, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Be onsite for the 12-month training program to shadow and gain hands-on experience with day-to-day operations of assigned project(s).
• Demonstrate understanding of training topics and participate in performance reviews on a 4-month cadence.
• Follow directions and coaching from Futures Program Sponsor (experienced superintendent or above).
• Showcase professional skills including clear, concise communication and organization.
• Assist in setup and maintenance of jobsite records and documents.
• Participate in site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship meet expectations.
• Assist in updating project schedule and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.
