Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Project Engineer / Project Engineer I to join a fast-paced team in Pasadena, CA. You will ensure conformance of construction documents to the plans and support field execution under the guidance of the Project Manager and Superintendent.

You translate documents into buildable plans, coordinate with subcontractors, assist with scheduling and material deliveries, and maintain vital jobsite records to support project closeout and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate and coordinate project document information (construction documents, submittals, RFIs) for field construction use.
• Coordinate subcontractor work and develop details for self-performed work.
• Assist the Superintendent with scheduling, deliveries and material coordination.
• Create and maintain jobsite records including logs, RFIs, submittals and change management.
