Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• Prior internship experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction including schedule logic, budgets and project documentation.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• OSHA 10 Hour and OSHA 30 preferred.
• Additional experience may include cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred) and construction management software (Procore preferred).

Responsibilities

• Document Control – Ensure timely and accurate management of all project documentation.
• Distribute all design changes/updates to the entire project team and all subcontractors.
• RFIs: Prepare and submit requests for information to the design team and distribute all responses.
• Submittals: Create and manage the submittal log for the project; obtain required submittals and review for compliance.
• Safety Documentation: Upload subcontractor safety documentation to Procore and monitor missing paperwork.
• Enrollment, and compliance tracking of subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Field Reporting: Ensure field activities are tracked and reported to related parties.
• Punch List: Upload and distribute the punch list through Procore and maintain an accurate log.
• Observations and Field Reports: conduct field walks and resolve open items with required parties.
• Safety: perform regular safety walks with field and safety staff and record observations.
• Photos: track project progress with site photos and upload to Procore.
• Material Delivery: maintain accurate delivery logs and monitor lead times.
• Create, update and maintain an accurate material delivery log for all materials and equipment.
• Obtain current information from subcontractors regarding status and onsite arrival.
• Coordinate and support pre-job and subcontractor safety and quality meetings.
• Interface with client and design team throughout the entire project.
• Develop relationships with all stakeholders and collaborate on project goals.
• Manage and inventory of job site office consumables.
