Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support field operations with scheduling coordination, PO processing, and document control in a fast-paced construction environment.

You will manage vendor POs, maintain logs and folders, track change orders, and ensure timely communication with foremen and management; proficiency with MS Office and a valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Construction experience, scheduling, PO and process flow experience is a plus.
• Similar industry administrative experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Request Construction Schedule from General Contractor.
• Update POJ spreadsheet and Workmanship Log for punch lists.
• Maintain Change Orders and Change Order Request Log with deadlines.
• Process Construction contracts and set up jobs.
• Issue PO numbers to vendors and manage PO flow to Accounts Payable.
• Maintain materials quotes for historical data.
• Ensure new team members understand time entry per project and training requirements.
• Follow-ups from meetings to relay combined notes to Construction Manager.
