Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Mountain View, CA seeks a Project Engineer to provide day-to-day support to the Preconstruction Manager, Construction Manager, and Superintendent. You will administer documentation, maintain logs, and coordinate field-to-office communication while owning specific workstreams.

The role requires a BS in Construction Management/Engineering/Business, 3+ years in project coordination, and proficiency with e-Builder/Procore/MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project coordination or similar in commercial construction.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multi-workstream prioritization.
• Proficiency in e-Builder, Procore, and MS Project.
• Knowledge of RFI, submittal, and change order processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work autonomously with accountability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and age the RFI log and submittal register, routing items for review and closure.
• Manage construction management technology, ensure tasks are up to date and accurate.
• Support bid package assembly for the Preconstruction Manager: scopes of work, bid-form documents, and bid-leveling spreadsheets.
• Track designer, vendor, and consultant POs and maintain procurement logs.
• Prepare and distribute look-ahead and weekly report drafts for review.
• Support daily field reporting: manpower logs, site photos, and visitor logs.
• Assist with PCCO assembly and change order documentation.
• Coordinate AHJ permitting submissions and inspection scheduling.
• Support BIM/CAD coordination and clash tracking.
• Maintain punchlist log through Final Completion.
• Assist with closeout package assembly: as-builts, OMs, warranties, training records.
• Support collection of vendor invoices and cost reconciliation docs.
• Assist in coordinating FF&E, client fit-up, and relocation logistics.
