Job summary

Massaro Construction Group seeks a Project Engineer to provide technical support on assigned projects, coordinating contract documents with staff, the Owner, Architect, and subcontractors, and assisting in supervising subcontract procurement and scheduling. The role also monitors the submittal system and reports to the Project Manager.

The position includes maintaining engineering records, preparing reports, and supporting BIM coordination and project quality control.

Qualifications

• B.A. / B.S. Civil Engineer or related degree with 4-5 years experience in the construction industry.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Ability to coordinate information among staff, Owner, Architect and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of information to field forces, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare, track and distribute RFIs, sketches and other project information.
• Prepare and distribute weekly quantity reports.
• Assist in budget and change estimates, and update contract documents.
• Attend coordination meetings and prepare meeting minutes as required.
