Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, management, and communication across projects. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to facilitate delivery and administrative tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities include logging, reporting, RFIs, submittals, bid documents, and day-to-day project tasks. A 0–2 year background in construction and basic MEP knowledge are valued, with a focus on coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in large, complex facility construction and on-site management.
• Basic MEP knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• LEED AP Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop industry relationships and expand networks for potential sales opportunities.
• Create and maintain project logs and reports.
• Assist Project Manager with updating tasks in software and processing RFIs, submittals, and logs.
• Ensure bid documents are sent to bidders and maintain bidders list.
• Maintain current construction documents and respond to RFIs.
• Review and process submittals and maintain submittal log.
• Support day-to-day project management including pay requests, change orders, contracts, and closeout.
