Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Construction Manager to bridge the office and field, turning design into a buildable plan and guiding RFIs, submittals, look-aheads, and change orders through closeout.

You will lead bid packages, procurement logs, and BIM/CAD coordination while ensuring AHJ permitting and punchlist management are handled efficiently on an on-site Mountain View project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field required.
• 7+ years in commercial construction project engineering or CM on multi-trade projects.
• Experience owning RFI/submittal logs, look-aheads, and change documentation.
• Ability to write scopes, level bid tabs, and sequence construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Convert bid scope into formal bid package, buildable schedule, and vendor process.
• Track designer, vendor, and consultant purchase orders and logistics plan.
• Release long-lead items and maintain procurement log for two-week look-ahead.
• Own RFI log and submittal cycle; manage aging, tracking, and closure.
• Lead BIM/CAD coordination and route design changes via RFI/PCO.
• Prepare two-week look-ahead with Superintendent; attend weekly coordination meetings.
• Assemble PCCOs, draft weekly report, and update risk feed for PM review.
• Lead trade planning and interface coordination; manage AHJ permitting submissions.
• Own punchlist log from Substantial Completion; coordinate FF&E, relocation, and client fit-up.
• Collect final vendor invoices and assist cost reconciliation and closeout package.
