Job summary

Vader National Electric seeks a Project Coordinator to support PM, Field Management, and customers from our Bellwood, IL office. Role involves coordinating across multiple projects with varying size and complexity and collaborating with all project team facets to ensure goals are met.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and ERP/cloud-based software skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver quality customer service on time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Introduction to construction preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project correspondence and file copies in electronic/cloud-based software.
• Price and write purchase orders and releases.
• Price extra work order tickets.
• Prepare project billings with the project team.
• Generate/track closeout documents.
• Compile closeout manuals.
• Transcribe letters and memos and compose as required.
• Issue subcontracts and subcontractor change orders.
• Maintain compliance of project-specific certificates of insurance.
• Generate and set up new projects in cloud-based software.
• Prepare submittals, meeting minutes, and RFIs using electronic/cloud-based programs.
• Receive and send UPS/FedEx.
• Answer phone calls and direct to the appropriate person when necessary.
• Assist all departments as needed.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Understand and contribute to strategic initiatives.
