Job summary

Vader National Electric is hiring a full-time Senior Project Manager based in Bellwood, IL. The candidate will oversee the planning and execution of complex electrical projects, requiring extensive experience in electrical management and project execution. Responsibilities involve estimating, compliance, customer relations, and mentoring. The position offers an anticipated salary between $125,000 and $165,000 per year with opportunities for discretionary bonuses. Ideal candidates should possess 8+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of electrical equipment and codes.

Qualifications

• Able to produce and maintain project schedule
• Eight (8) years plus as a Field Supervisor or Electrical Project Manager
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and material
• Thorough knowledge of electrical codes
• Contract law familiarity
• Advanced estimating skills
• Intermediate knowledge of Accubid (or similar estimating software) for change order estimating

Responsibilities

• Estimate new work
• Verify and enforce compliance with Vader’s standard procedures
• Complete performance reviews for assigned direct report(s)
• Negotiate purchases and subcontracts
• Monitor labor, material, and direct job costs
• Communicate project requirements to field
• Review and produce shop drawings if necessary
• Prepare and review submittals
• Maintain and build upon customer relations
• Document all project activities
• Properly close out projects and maintain history
• Lead and mentor project staff at all levels
