Job summary

You will prepare bid packages, analyze bids, update cost reports, monitor safety and quality, and help finalize close‑out requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction projects and/or administrative construction experience
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans
• Strong cost control, scheduling, and budgeting awareness
• Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identifies and qualifies subcontractors and vendors for assigned scopes of work
• Prepares and transmits bid packages and invitations to bid
• Receives and analyzes bids; may negotiate and award subcontracts and purchase orders
• Prepares and maintains purchase control log
• Participates in design review meetings and monitors scope, cost changes, and constructability
• May be responsible for permits tracking/expediting
• Prepares detailed estimates and cost codes for cost control reporting
• Works with accounting to maintain subcontractor/vendor payment requirements
• Prepares and updates progress schedules including short-term intervals
• Assists in planning construction operations and sequences
• Interacts with clients as directed by project manager with reports and responses
• Manages submittals and RFIs; maintains associated logs
• Assists in subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality management
• Assists in project close-out documentation and inspections
