Job summary

The Haskell Company in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead design/build and construction management projects from assignment to completion. You will be accountable for all construction activities on assigned project(s) and ensure cost control, schedule, and quality meet contract requirements.

You will mentor team members, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, prepare bids and change orders, and maintain safety and compliance while advancing the project on time and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists project directors in responding to RFPs and prepares conceptual estimates and schedules.
• Monitors design documents, reviews constructability, and cost changes.
• Prepares detailed estimates, cost code input and cost control systems.
• Manages bid packages, subcontractors, and major purchase orders.
• Plans, sequences and schedules the project with input from the superintendent and subcontractors.
• Manages project cost control, labor cost reports and project status summaries.
• Coordinates permits, inspections and approvals with authorities.
