Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee design/build and construction management projects across the United States. You will be accountable for all construction activities from assignment through completion, coordinating with superintendents and project teams to meet scope, cost and schedule goals.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates, managing bids, client relations, cost control, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent plus three years minimum in Industrial Water/Wastewater facility construction, design, or management preferred.
• Knowledge of designing and constructing Industrial Water/Wastewater facilities.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and materials under multiple demands.
• Knowledge of estimating, construction methods, engineering, equipment and technology.
• Excellent safety understanding and organizational, supervisory, communication, collaboration and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel per project requirements and align with company vision and values.

Responsibilities

• Assists project directors in responding to RFPs, including conceptual estimates, schedules and proposals.
• Monitors design document progress and provides input on constructability, scope and cost changes.
• Prepares detailed estimates, cost code input and cost control systems.
• Manages bid packages, inquiries, subcontractor qualification and major purchase orders.
• Plans, sequences and schedules the project with input from the superintendent and subs.
• Manages project costs, labor cost reports and status summaries.
• Coordinates permits, inspections and final approvals with A/E.
• Maintains submittal control and expedites submittals from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Manages client relations, including meetings, reports, change orders and inquiries.
• Prepares payment requisitions and maximizes cash flow through invoicing and collections.
• Manages contract changes, updates budgets and subcontracts.
• Oversees payments to subcontractors and vendors, reviewing schedules of value and insurance.
• Addresses subcontractor performance issues and replacements as needed.
• Monitors project progress, quality and safety, ensuring compliance with contract and policy.
• Contributes to mentoring construction personnel and supports project close-out and warranty work.
