Job summary

Midwest Contracting Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support project accounting and contract administration for underground wet utility projects in Chandler, AZ. You will manage lien waivers, prelim notices, payment applications, and change orders while assisting Project Managers with scheduling and documentation.

The role emphasizes accuracy and timely reporting, with on-site, in-office work.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction accounting, contract administration, or project coordination (underground utilities or civil construction).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office software; experience with PM software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track lien waivers and preliminary notices from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and track monthly payment applications and draw requests.
• Maintain the change order log and reflect COs in contract values and billings.
• Reconcile subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Support job cost tracking and month-end WIP updates with the accounting team.
