Job summary

Rosendin Electric in Sterling, VA is seeking a Project Assistant to provide project management support to the project team. This role includes administrative tasks and coordinating workflows.

You will work with cross-functional groups, read blueprints, manage schedules, and assist with budgeting and vendor quotes. A related degree and 1–2 years of PM support experience are preferred. This position offers growth opportunities within a shareholder-owned company.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years' project management support experience, preferably in a construction environment.
• Experience in the construction industry.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Recap and track Potential Change Orders (PCO's).
• Price material vouchers where applicable.
• Write and track all RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Track certified payroll for Rosendin and subcontractors; complete forms (HRC, OCIP).
• Update project schedules using Microsoft Projects or Sure Track.
• Process monthly billing (Schedule of Values, cover sheet).
• Create and update material flow and submittal logs; obtain vendor quotes.
