Job summary

CBRE is seeking a T&T Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple construction projects for small to medium-sized clients. The role focuses on light industrial and commercial construction with a hybrid onsite requirement of 3-4 days per week.

The position emphasizes budgeting, risk assessment, and coordination with the Cost Advisory group, with a senior-level expectation of 5–8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5–8 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with drawings and specifications.
• Review documentation including contractor cost payments, budget status, and subcontracts.
• Prepare Project Status and Construction Risk Assessment reports and review construction funds releases.
• Evaluate the Developer’s direct and indirect cost budgets; coordinate with Cost Advisory for estimates and take-offs.
• Comment on terms of construction agreements and ensure qualifications statements for contractor and architect are up to date.
• Oversee construction and disbursement schedules including zoning approvals and permits.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across related teams.
• Lead by example with CBRE RISE values and build consensus across stakeholders.
