Job summary

DeSilva Gates Construction in Dublin, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support daily payroll operations for both union and non-union staff. You will ensure accurate, timely processing and address payroll inquiries while maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 2 years of payroll experience, comfort with CMiC, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
• Experience with construction industry payroll is a plus.
• CMiC knowledge preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs quickly.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly union and non-union payroll using CMiC.
• Collect timesheets and paperwork for timely payroll processing.
• Review timesheets with employees and management.
• Gather data for union reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports.
• Process garnishments and I-9s, W-4s, etc.
• Assist employees with payroll questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
