Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of payroll experience, construction union payroll exposure, and proficiency with MS Office and construction-specific payroll software. Normal hours are Monday–Friday with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; relevant business and/or accounting classes preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of payroll experience; construction union payroll experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills with high accuracy and discretion.
• Proficient in MS Office tools and construction payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Payroll Manager and Lead with strategic initiatives and process improvements.
• Support weekly payroll, review timecards, process payroll edits for accuracy.
• Run timecards and reports, ensure data accuracy before upload.
• Process weekly electronic payments and provide backup for union reports.
• Collaborate with foremen to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timeliness.
