AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Payroll and Accounting Specialist for a direct hire in the north San Diego area. The role focuses on construction payroll, certified payroll, union reporting, and project accounting, supporting a busy accounting team with accurate payroll processing and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in payroll or construction payroll, strong knowledge of prevailing wage rules, and experience with multiple payroll platforms.

Formación

• 4+ years of payroll, accounting, or construction payroll experience required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and prevailing wage reporting.
• Ability to interpret union agreements and wage rules.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.

Responsabilidades

• Process accurate and timely multi-state payroll with tax calculations and journal entries.
• Prepare certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects using LCPtracker, eMars, Elations, and related systems.
• Manage union payroll reporting and compliance with master labor agreements and deadlines.
• Maintain employee payroll records including hires, changes, and terminations.
• Support project accounting and job cost administration, including labor reporting and cost reporting.
