AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Construction Payroll Specialist for a full-time, direct-hire role in the Torrance, CA area. The ideal candidate will own the weekly payroll process, resolve complex timekeeping issues, and support employees across field, construction, and multi-location environments.

The candidate should have strong California payroll knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict weekly deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience handling weekly payroll for multi-location or field operations.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws.
• Proficient with Excel and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate and timely weekly payroll for a multi-location employee population.
• Audit timekeeping records and correct discrepancies before payroll submission.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, wage adjustments, and timekeeping issues.
• Maintain payroll records, documentation, and audit support.
