Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services North America Design & Construction to lead projects from design through handover. You will interface with developers, general contractors, and AHJs to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets and standards.

The role requires ~60% regional travel across North America with occasional office work when not traveling. Candidates should live near a corporate office or relocate, with relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects from design through handover.
• Serve as owner’s representative between construction teams and internal stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specs, and budgets for conformance to standards.
• Negotiate contracts, changes in scope, and schedules with external teams.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
