Job summary

Atlas is seeking a qualified Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to support heavy civil infrastructure projects across Western Washington. You will perform field tests, collect samples, and document results with a focus on accuracy and defensible data.

Expect to operate a nuclear gauge, complete daily test reports, and travel to project sites. Candidates must have WAQTC density testing and ACI Grade 1 certifications, plus 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• WAQTC density testing certification is required.
• ACI Certification field testing Grade 1 is required.
• 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests, record test data, and interpret test results.
• Sample and test Cement, Concrete, and other surfacing materials.
• Sample and perform aggregate tests such as sieve analysis, sand equivalent, and moisture content.
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.
