Join our Charlotte, North Carolina Construction Services team as a Construction Materials Engineering Technician. At S&ME, you’ll help ensure concrete, soils, and asphalt meet quality and safety standards on projects ranging from local facilities to major venues.

You’ll receive hands‑on training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles as you apply field and lab testing, sample prep, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred for advanced levels.
• Valid U.S. driver's license or equivalent is required.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Basic math proficiency and understanding of units.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing on concrete, soils, and asphalt.
• Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
• Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to meet specs and safety guidelines.
