Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Construction Materials Tester - CMT Field Technician 2 to deliver accurate materials testing and documentation for heavy civil infrastructure projects. The role requires minimum WAQTC In-Place Density and ACI Field Testing Grade 1 certifications and a commitment to high-quality results.

With 2+ years of field experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, you’ll handle test reports, data interpretation, and on-site sampling while traveling across Western Washington per

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel for Western Washington per diem projects.

Responsibilities

• Accurately write and submit test reports daily.
• Assist with inspection of Heavy Civil construction.
• Perform a variety of job site tests and record data.
• Sample and test Cement, Concrete, and other materials.
• Sample and perform aggregate tests (sieve analysis, sand equivalent, moisture).
• Use nuclear gauge to test densities of asphalt, concrete, surfacing, and earthwork.
• Write and receive tickets for measurements of materials.
