Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced Operations Lead to supervise multiple projects in the department, ensuring work is completed on time and in line with client requirements and Terracon standards.

You will oversee proposals, cost estimates, staffing plans, and the annual department plan while driving safety, quality, and client relationships across projects. This role emphasizes staff development, performance management, and profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5 years' practice experience, or 9 years' related experience without a degree.
• Master's degree or PhD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise or monitor projects to ensure on-time work per client requirements and company standards.
• Oversee proposals and cost estimates to ensure proper scoping, manpower, and pricing.
• Lead staff training, development, and performance review for the department.
• Plan and execute annual business plan for the department with the Office Manager.
• Monitor key metrics: revenue growth, staffing utilization, project billing, and profitability.
• Promote safety, enforce rules, and model a safe work environment.
• Ensure continuous quality monitoring and delivery of high-quality work.
