Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee facilities, environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, lead safety initiatives, and coordinate with clients, APR, and external contractors to deliver high-quality results.

The role emphasizes proactive planning, risk awareness, and effective communication to ensure projects meet targets and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology with 5+ years of experience, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of small to medium sized projects to ensure safety, on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM and design project plan.
• Lead safety efforts, develop and monitor safety plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate resources, including calculations, designs, reports and work specifications, and engage external contractors.
• Communicate project status to client and team, prepare reports, and manage invoices/change orders.
