Job summary

Terracon is seeking an experienced operations leader to supervise multiple projects, ensuring on-time, compliant delivery and profitability. You will oversee proposals, staffing, safety, and quality while shaping the department’s annual business plan and metrics.

The role emphasizes business development and client relationship management, with responsibility for risk awareness and safe work practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5 years’ practice experience; or 9 years’ related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise or monitor all projects in progress to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
• Oversee proposals and cost estimates to ensure proper scoping and profitability.
• Manage department operations, staffing, training, safety, and quality of services.
• Plan and participate in business development to win and execute project opportunities.
• Monitor key metrics: revenue growth, staffing utilization, project billing and profitability.
