Job summary

Saiia Construction is seeking a Construction Manager for our Chester, VA project. You will direct, plan, and manage construction activities to meet schedule and budget while upholding Saiia’s safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with the project team, oversee foremen and subcontractors, and maintain strong client relationships on a dynamic heavy civil project. The role requires field leadership, proven experience in construction management, and strong communication skills to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities for assigned discipline on the project.
• Ensure project compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor progress, budget, and KPIs; report to Project Manager.
• Lead project teams including foremen and subcontractors.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure scope and expectations are met.
