Job summary

Saiia Construction is hiring a Construction Manager for a Chester, VA project. You will direct and manage construction activities to meet schedule and budget while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include leading project teams, coordinating with the PM, and ensuring safe, compliant execution. The role requires OSHA 30, a related degree, and 3 years of construction experience. MasTec CE&I context emphasizes reliability and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management.
• OSHA 30 or better certification required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee all construction activities, specific to assigned discipline, on assigned project.
• Construct the project and work with the management team to maximize the profit of the project.
• Oversee construction activities and personnel within delivery timelines and training requirements.
• Report to Project Manager on construction progress, performance, and key performance indicators.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
• Lead and supervise project teams and communicate goals to crew leads.
• Ensure Foremen and Superintendents manage crews and subcontractors to provide a safe environment.
