Job summary

Saiia Construction is seeking a Construction Manager for a Chester, VA project. You will direct, plan, and manage construction activities to meet schedule and budget while complying with safety and company policies.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, 3 years of industry experience, OSHA 30, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Travel about 25% and on-site work at the project site are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience
• Three years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• OSHA 30 or better certification required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Company and safety policies and procedures
• Oversee all construction activities, specific to assigned discipline, on assigned project
• Construct the project and work with the management team to maximize the profit of the project
• Oversee construction activities and personnel within delivery timelines and training requirements
• Report to Project Manager on construction progress, performance and KPIs
• Follow all health and safety procedures and safe working practices
• Lead and supervise project teams
• Build relationships with Client Site Representatives to ensure open communication
