Summary

The Construction Manager will oversee the construction of cellular towers, MOD upgrades, Tech Upgrades, and General Maintenance by supervising both ground and tower crews to ensure timely project completion and budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety above all else.
  • Schedule project resources and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to resolve issues.
  • Assist in preparing budget estimates and progress reports.
  • Interpret plans and contract terms to ensure scope compliance.
  • Plan, organize, and direct construction or maintenance activities.
  • Address delays, weather issues, or emergencies effectively.
  • Monitor projects for compliance with building and safety codes.
  • Determine appropriate construction methods based on specifications.
  • Supervise all workers and oversee quality and safety programs.
  • Manage supplies and materials procurement.
  • Investigate damages or delays on-site.
  • Determine labor requirements and manage workforce deployment.
  • Evaluate construction methods for cost-effectiveness.
  • Implement environmental protection programs and ensure safety compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
  • Must be physically fit to perform tasks like stooping, crawling, bending, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90%).
  • Pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug tests.
  • Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in tower construction management.
  • Knowledge of construction management processes, rules, and standards.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
  • Leadership, conflict management, and project planning skills.
  • Background in architecture, engineering, or related fields preferred.
Supervisory Requirements

Direct supervision of Tower and Ground Lead positions.

Position Details

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime and travel (50-90%).

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; BSc in related field preferred.
  • At least six years’ experience in tower construction management preferred.
