West Virginia Paving Inc. is seeking a Construction Management Intern to gain exposure across project management, asphalt plant operations, and field teams within a CRH family company.

You will assist with bidding, contract setup, working with estimators and project managers, and learn how to prepare jobs and supervise crews while adhering to safety and company policies. Working toward a degree in Construction or Operations Management, you will use Windows, Excel, Word and PowerPoint to analyze

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Construction Management or Operations Management.
• Must be proficient with Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Project management (public and private jobs) including bidding, contracts, and working with estimators, project managers and foremen.
• Asphalt plant operations: assist plant operators, yard crew, scales, and general plant maintenance.
• Work with construction crews and prep crews, learn job setup and equipment usage.
• Understand job cost and basic P&L concepts.
